Whitewater Rafting

The following post features student writing.

Today, we woke up and enjoyed gallo pinto and eggs for breakfast. After a two-hour bus drive to Aguas Bravas, we were ready to whitewater raft. We went through the safety briefing and were off on our adventure, paddling through class 2 and 3 rapids in three separate rafts.

Though things got rough in some spots and it began to rain toward the end of our trip, the experience was awesome! Afterward, we enjoyed a wonderful meal right on the river.

After a sleepy bus ride, we were back in Bonanza Norte. Everybody enjoyed their free time, with most of us working on our independent projects. Tim made stir-fry for dinner and it was amazing. After our nightly meeting, we all enjoyed a nice night of sleep.
